Tattoo Training
In the state of Minnesota, you can certify your tattoo training with a licensed artist, school, or tattoo parlor. However, do not confuse certification for license. In order for you be become licensed to perform services to the public, you must also complete a 200-hour skin contact apprenticeship at a licensed tattoo establishment. Body art and permanent make-up both fall under Body Art Technician License.
All Trainings are a private 1:1 for most effective learning environment or can be grouped upon request. All trainings include a kit, manual, and lunch is provided each day. Live model work for you to shadow is included. Courses require a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 to book a date and will be deducted off final amount due on committed date for training.
We also offer the state required 200-hours tattoo apprenticeships to those who are committed to learning the art, techniques, and performing in a clean and safe environment described in Minnesota Statues Chapter 146B. You are required to conduct your activities as a Body Art Technician consistent with this chapter. All statues and important information can be found at Minnesota Depart of Health - Body Art.


Body Art Training
Develop essential body art skills through our expert-led training programs. You will learn skin theory, needle knowledge, machine knowledge, how to design tattoos, create fine lines, , and shading technique using a tattoo machine. Includes manual, full kit (tattoo machine + stencil machine, ink, accessories), and live model shadowing. Lunch is provided for both days.
This is a 2-day training for all tattoo beginners. This is only for certification not licensing for Minnesota. Apprenticeship fees are separate. All other states, please abide by your state's rules and regulations.
Cost: $2,800 2-day training. No payment plans available.

Permanent Makeup Training
Learn the art of permanent makeup with our specialized training courses. Choose from 1 of the 3 following techniques to learn. You will learn skin theory, needle knowledge, machine knowledge, how to map the face, create outline, and shading techniques using a tattoo machine. Includes manual, full kit (tattoo machine + mix selection of inks, accessories), and live model shadowing. Lunch is provided for all days.
Ombre’ brows- create a gradient effect to the brows. The tail is the darkest and it gradually blends to a lighter towards the front of the eyebrow. This technique is done using a machine to deposit pigments.
Microshade brows- creates similar effect but also incorporates microblading to achieve hair strokes in the front of the eyebrows. This technique uses a machine and microblade tool to manually cut the upper layer of the dermis.
Lip Blush tattoo - the fastest growing semi-permanent services on the market. Lip blush can last up to five years for clients. This semi-permanent tattoo helps to define the cupid’s bow, add color, and give the illusion of a solid shape. You will learn how to map and properly shade the lips using a tattoo machine.

200 Hour Tattoo Apprenticeship
In the state of Minnesota, you are required to have 200 hours of performing tattooing under a Licensed Supervisor and need to complete a Blood Borne Pathogen (BBP) class available online. The BBP certificate will need to remain current throughout the apprenticeship and is required to obtain a temporary technician license. As an apprentice a student would have already completed a tattoo training certification with me, a school, or another artist. The apprentice must also purchase Tattoo insurance and remain current through the apprenticeship program. Registering for a small business name and Limited Liability Company (LLC) is recommended to promote your work and legal identity.
Cost: $7,000 pay in full for 3.75 months. Thereafter, pay $800 per month, up to the expiration of your temporary tattoo license to get in your 200 tattoo hours.
